is a night to remember with a 20-minute fireworks show created by Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnics, one of the leaders in the fireworks entertainment industry. This event will be the first official Juneteenth Fireworks Festival in the greater Cincinnati area. To kick off the Fireworks Festival, we'll have multiple events including over 50 Black vendors. During this year's Festival, we’d like to see a minimum of $50,000 poured back into the Black, small business community, so please come ready to shop! Additionally, there will be a Health Fair, a Career Fair, and we’ll celebrate Black history all day long! We’ll also give away Black Excellence Awards to people who are doing outstanding things in the community to support the Black culture. We believe it’s very important the next generation understands how important Juneteenth is in the Black community - this is an Independence Day celebration. We’ve come so far but we have so far to go. We believe this event is just another step in the right direction. Let’s light up the night and let’s do it for the Culture!

Get ready Cincinnati, for an exciting announcement! The Woodlawn community is thrilled to invite you to the Juneteenth Firework Festival 2024. We've added loads of new attractions to make this year's event unforgettable. But before we dive into the festivities, let's talk about what's happening in the lead-up to Juneteenth.

On June 15th, join us for the 5K Freedom Lap Walk and Run Marathon, starting on Woodlawn Boulevard. Register at www.callaplay.com for just $30, which includes a T-shirt and a medal.

Then, on June 16th, we're hosting a joint service with Landmark Church and local churches in Woodlawn and Cincinnati for a special celebration of worship. Visit www.callaplay.com for details.
And on June 17th, head to the Woodlawn Recreation Center for Drive-In Movies featuring classic culture films and special presentations of black productions.

Now, let's talk about the main event – the Juneteenth Firework Festival on June 18th. Starting at 12 PM and ending at 10 PM, join us for an incredible fireworks display presented by Rozzi Pyrotechnics. Parking in the main lot of the recreation center is free, but it's first-come, first-serve.

Plus, don't miss the Juneteenth Ring Competition with over 250 kids competing, and cheer on the Cincinnati Reds RBI Teams as they play for custom rings.

And introducing the Juneteenth Mini Museum, showcasing over 40 pieces of artwork from local artists and youth, celebrating equality and unity.

Lastly, don't miss our Underground Railroad Tour in partnership with landmark Church, offering a unique opportunity to learn about this important piece of history.
